Sponsor initiative PC Zijlwijk Primary School - LEIDEN (NL)

At the PC Zijlwijk primary school in Leiden annualy a Christmas money collection is held. This year the school has selected the Mbande Clinic Project as their primairy target for the collection. Important for the school is to involve the children in these activities and make them aware of the world arround them. This is why Paul and Meta drove with Wa Bashasha to Leiden and visited the school. During that day Paul and Meta paid each class a visit and talked about the journey, Africa, the clinic and the objectives of the sponsor program. Specially made colouring pages were handed out for the younger kids.

The money collection was held during the Christmas celebration. The collection score was EURO 810,40. Subsequently the parents councel of the PC Zijlwijk School decided to raise the amount upto 1000 EURO!!! In Februari Paul and Meta have visit the school again in order to receive the money for the Mbande Clinic Project. We sincerly want to thank the PC Zijlwijk school and the families of the children who made this great contribution to the project possible.
